Kaloo is a success story in the highly competitive sector of the soft toys and baby items world. The brand was created in 1998 by a French national, Eric Panciulo, who set up his first company in 1990. Originally a toy manufacturer, he has transformed his company into a specialized one in the design and production of soft toys and baby items. The company, which was mainly set up for the European market, now exports to about 35 countries worldwide.
 
Dedication to design and quality along with awareness of the expected needs of the market are the key points of Kaloo's strategy. The best quality materials are used and tested before marketing, and all items are produced according to the compulsory safety standards.
 
All Kaloo products are manufactured in compliance with European safety standards (EN71). These standards cover such aspects of safety as the strength of the stitching, non-existence of prohibited chemicals

and fire resistance. In addition to these safety standards the Kaloo fabrics have some added qualities:

• Colour resistance to immersion in water
• Colour resistance to perspiration
• Colour resistance to saliva

These added qualities ensure the durability of Kaloo products.It is recommended that products be machine washed at 30° and tumble dried on a low temperature to conserve the colours and the quality. Avoid soaking, washing by hand and hanging to dry. For items containing a music box, surface wash only. Do not use any bleaching or softening agents, and do not wash with other microfibers.
 
All facial features are stitched in computer embroidery to ensure the longevity of the products and avoid any detachment of the threads.
