For over 55 years, Clayeux has designed beautiful collections in Burgundy and manufactured all their products in France. Every collection is simply gorgeous and full of colour and life.
 
A Short History...
 
Gerard and Irene Clayeux created Clayeux in 1953. They developed a totally new range of products for babies (0-4 years), based on hand-knitted babywear. In 1957 the company was the first manufacturer to launch colourful clothes for babies. Clayeux was handed down to the next generation when brother and sister Gilles and Gwenaelle succeeded their father in 1996. The young management duo has successfully built on the existing family expertise and combined it with fresh thinking and creative new ideas on design. Located in Montceau

in Burgundy, France, all Clayeux clothing is made in its own factory, which ensures the manufacturing process can be carefully managed. Clayeux continues to use the most innovative technology, techniques and fabrics.

The very original design of Clayeux represents an urban and elegant lifestyle which meets the most demanding requirements of young mothers. For example, babies' pullovers are widened at the bottom for nappies and the blousons are equipped with a double fastening system to allow clothes to be changed easily and quickly... Small details which are important for the comfort of Little People...
